What the heck is this?
This is a community for characters from the podcast The Adventure Zone (Including TAZ: Nights)! Here y'all can mingle and meme to your heart's content!
What about AUs/CRAUs/Offshoots/ect?
Those are totally welcome! Maybe you've got an obscure TAZ AU-specific character that you'd like to voicetest, or you want to thread something out from your game that doesn't end up in the game communities for whatever reason. Maybe your characters got dropped from a game for time or activity, and you just want to bop around with their voice for a little while longer. All members are free to make posts! Just be sure to make note in the tags if a character is an AU or game-specific CRAU. If there's a tag you need, just shoot the mods a heads-up and we'll add it as ya want it!
Can a character from a canon other than The Adventure Zone be here?
For the time being, yes. This rule may be subject to change, but while this is still written in the rules, cross-canon threading is allowed. For the purposes of comm organization, I request that only TAZ-specific characters post memes/logs/starters. Cross-canon characters are fully allowed and encouraged to pop in if they have game CR with some canon characters, or if you just want to see the interaction between your muse and a TAZ one. There will be a tag specifically for memes and logs in which cross-canon characters are allowed, so just keep an eye out for that!
What can we post here?
Aaaaanything at all my dudes. A ridiculous meme, a serious meme, an assumed-CR meme, whatever you like! You can post closed logs between characters or castmates as well if you just need a space for it. The only stipulation is that you warn for content that may be sensitive and add your rating accordingly; That means you put content that might be violent, ideologically sensitive, or deals with dark subject matter behind a cut and warn for it accordingly in your thread subject headings so that no one stumbles upon such things on accident. Those topics are interesting and compelling to thread, but we want to make sure those that want to avoid it can.
What about activity?
There is no activity! Only memes live here now. Do as much or as little as you want.
How do I join?
If you have a TAZ character journal, you simply join the comm. The moderators will approve your access, and you're free to post whatever. You do NOT need to be a member of the community to comment to entries, simply to post them.
What about minor characters/canon OCs/speculative characters/etc.?
Go hog wild, friends. If you wanna play Gundron Rockseeker, you play Gundron Rockseeker. If you wanna play Trent the Treant, I am not here to stop you. In fact, I actively encourage this. Go wild. Cut off someone's ass, as long as ya tag it.

1. Be respectful.
Don't harass and don't be rude. We're all here to play fictional characters on the Internet. Let's leave the baggage and drama at the door. If we get reports that you've been inflammatory, needlessly rude, or disrespectful to the point that it's affecting play, you will be asked to leave the comm.
2. Use the tags.
This makes it easy for people to keep track if they're allowed to tag into something or not.
3. There will be no playing of underage/incest ships or smut here.
Due to the nature of the above, we would really prefer if you keep that kind of thing to a personal musebox. This is a public group comm, not a musebox.
4. No dogs.
This is still the Moon and they'll still run right off the goddamn thing. This is the only instant blockable offence. You've been warned.
